Drug Shortages - offices are informed of any upcoming drug shortages and backorder lists are maintained.
We're On Top of All drug shortages and recalls
We contact all clinics who have purchased a particular drug within the last 6 months if a drug shortage arises or a recall has been announced. Macdonald’s keeps a large inventory on hand to ensure that, in most cases, there is sufficient stock to last through a shortage. If a drug is unavailable at the time of purchase, backorders are kept on file and orders are filled as soon as a drug is released. Macdonald’s will make every effort to find a suitable replacement for a backordered medication.

A medical crash cart is an important piece of equipment in every medical centre. Macdonald’s offers the option to purchase single vial injectables for ALL crash cart items.

- Macdonald’s Prescriptions Account – statements will be mailed monthly. Please note that a 2% finance fee will be charged to accounts past due greater than 30 days.
- Credit card – Visa or Mastercard used at time of purchase.

If e-mailing an order, please be sure to attach the signed prescription with the email. If there are any issues with your order, you will be contacted within 24 hours of receipt of your order. All orders are shipped out within 24 hours, unless items are on backorder.
